I was born in England but lived most of my life in Edinburgh, Scotland so
consider myself to be an honorary Scot.  On the 15th April, 2008 I
arrived in Memphis and on the 16th, I picked up my Road King at Bumpus
Harley Davidson in Collierville, having already joined Ghost River as a
Charter Member before I even left Scotland!  The Road King is my fourth
Harley.  I graduated to it via two Sportsters and a Fat Boy and have
ridden it nearly 32,000 miles in the last twenty months, including an Iron
Butt ride to Southern Maryland in 2010.

I have a pretty eclectic taste in food, beverages and music -- there's
very little you could throw at me that I wouldn't eat, drink or listen to.
I guess my favorite place to eat in Edinburgh was the Hard Rock Cafe,
where my old Chapter met every Wednesday evening. I love the food and
the music there -- but I must also confess to a liking for country music.
And I love people.  Bikes, food, beer, music, people -- sounds like Heaven
to me!!

One of my three grown-up children still lives in Edinburgh and the other
two in Portland, ME together with the latest addition to the Jerome
family, a brand new grand-daughter born on December 13th, 2009.
