I was born in Queens, NY and spent my first 14 years on this Earth as
a Marine Corps brat living in places like Jacksonville, NC; Hawthorne,
NJ; Brooklyn, NY and Millington, TN.
My father had a metric bike when I was young, but I never took to
motorcycles until much later in life.
I have been an Aircraft Mechanic with FedEx for 24 years working
mostly in Memphis, with a two year detour at JFK in New York during
the early 90's and a short stay in Oakland, CA in 1999. It was while
working in Casper, WY, in 2007 during a temporary assignment with
FedEx, that I got interested in motorcycles. So interested that I
attended the Sturgis Rally that year without a bike. During my visit
in Sturgis I talked with a lot of good folks and asked questions about
the mystique of riding. From there I was hooked.

I took the BRC course at Bumpus Memphis in December, 2007 to make sure I really wanted to ride. After that weekend there was
no doubt.
I looked at several HD models before deciding on an Ultra Classic. Why not start out at the top right? Three years, forty states
and 45,000 miles later I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.
2011 will be my second year as Chapter Photographer.
